Norman Hughes - Director
Norman spent 14 years building his experience in business at director/managing director level before taking up the position of commercial/marketing manager in a large law firm. During his time with the law firm, Norman was responsible for developing systems and procedures for professional quality accreditations such as PMS/Franchising/Investors in People.
Turning his focus to RTA work, Norman also had a hand in developing a number of companies aimed at providing support services to the Law Firm itself and associated solicitor panel.
In 2003, putting all this experience into practice, Norman established Central Cab Care to specialise in the niche “taxi” sector of the credit hire industry. Today the business is a leading national specialist provider.
Norman takes an active day-to-day role in the business, but when he’s not at work he can be found spending quality time with his family enjoying traditional jazz music, cycling and green-laning.
Spencer Gregg - Director
With a very valuable 21 years of experience in the Insurance broking and Taxi Insurance sector, Spencer teamed up with Norman Hughes to form ‘Central Cab Care LLP’ in 2003. Incorporating in 2005.
With his industry knowledge Spencer has been instrumental in building Central Cab Care into one of the UK’s largest national plated vehicle providers.
As a key decision maker, Spencer takes an active role in the business taking particular ownership for fleet sales.
Outside of the business Spencer is a keen Aston Villa fan and Season Ticket holder, he also loves to attend live music concerts. A true family man, Spencer enjoys travelling and spending time with friends.
Marie Champion - Operations Director
Marie’s strong and varied experience with one of the country’s largest accident management companies made her the obvious choice when Norman and Spencer were looking for someone to help manage the business in 2004.
Joining initially as Sales Manager Marie’s progressive position in the company means she has held a number of positions including Operations Manager and General Manager. Today, as Operations Director Marie takes an active role in Central Cab Care's business growth and strategic planning.
Marie heads up operations putting her specialist experience into practice by delivering leadership and management with responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business.
In her spare time Marie enjoys keeping fit, catching up with friends and spending quality time with her family.
Shaun Beeston - Special Projects Director
Prior to joining Central Cab Care Shaun worked for a large insurance company fulfilling a number of roles including Group Business Development Manager. Shaun’s experience includes glass, the broker market, credit and intervention hire and FNOL.
Shaun joined Central Cab Care in June 2016 to oversee the growth of the business across all sectors of the credit and intervention hire arena. He also has input into business strategy providing support for new projects working closely with the senior management team. Shaun has a strong focus on business partners ensuring we understand their business strengths and is fully committed to their needs. As a part of the senior management team Shaun is integral to Central Cab Care’s future growth and business development plans.
In his spare time he loves spending time with his family and enjoys running a junior football team.
